WELCOME TO THE

MANUKAU SPORT FISHING CLUB

We are a keen fishing club based around Auckland’s west coast, specifically the mighty Manukau. As an NZSFC‑affiliated club, we fish to IGFA rules to ensure fair, consistent, and internationally recognised standards across all our competitions and records.

We are a family‑friendly club who meet on the first Wednesday of every month at the Titirangi RSA at 7pm (excluding January). We welcome new members, and joining is easy through our website.

Throughout the year we run a variety of competitions — from snapper and marlin jackpots to tagging events, and of course the infamous Westcoaster out of Little Huia. If you have any questions or would like to join up, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote safe, sustainable, and enjoyable recreational fishing for all.
We are a family‑friendly club that encourages learning, connection, and respect for our marine environment.
We champion responsible fishing practices — including tag‑and‑release and “fish for the future” principles — so our fisheries remain healthy for generations to come.
We believe time on the water supports mental wellbeing, builds friendships, and strengthens our community.
Through shared experiences, education, and good stewardship, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of fishing and the ocean

Sponsor Spotlight

We were stoked to welcome Bonze Lures on board as a new sponsor of the MSFC this year!

If you’re into game fishing, chances are you already know the Bonze name - and there’s probably a few of their lures sitting in your spread!

Designed right here in NZ by Captain Graeme ‘Bonze’ Fleet, a two-time Billfish Foundation Award winner, Bonze Lures have earned a serious reputation in the game fishing world.

Their lures have been tested in some of the best marlin fishing grounds around the world, and they offer a huge range of game lures, rigged spreads, teasers, dredges and fishing accessories.

We’re really pleased to have another great NZ fishing brand getting behind the club and appreciate the support from the Bonze team.

So if you’re looking to add something new to your spread before the next marlin season, go and have a look at what they’ve got!
